IGEP Updates: Intergenerational Dialogue in Action

In January, the Intergenerational Exchange Programme continued its work across both academic and community settings, fostering dialogue, research, and action on sustainability and well-being across generations.

Sharing IGEP Research at the University of Oxford

In January, IGEP contributed to the workshop “Intergenerational Dialogue for Well-Being Futures” at the University of Oxford.

Drawing on our research and hands-on work grounded in lived experience and co-creation, we were pleased to take part in discussions exploring intergenerational policy innovation and more inclusive approaches to social and sustainability challenges.

It was a valuable opportunity to exchange ideas with researchers and practitioners, and to reflect on how intergenerational approaches can help shape more equitable and resilient futures—all in a truly inspiring setting.

Intergenerational Climate Workshop at Hop 50+ Café

Also in January, IGEP hosted an intergenerational workshop on climate action at the Hop 50+ Café

A huge thank you to the Hop team and to everyone who joined us, sharing experiences, ideas, and thoughtful conversations about what climate action can look like across generations.

These exchanges are at the heart of IGEP’s work—creating spaces where different perspectives come together to inspire meaningful, locally rooted action.
